Bandipora bags eight medals in National Ju-Jitsu Championship

 

Bandipora, Apr : Ju-Jitsu team of North Kashmir’s Bandipora district bagged eight medals in National Ju-Jitsu Championship.

 

The championship was held at Dewas Madhya Pradesh from 27 to 31 March in which seven athletes from Bandipora district participated and bagged 05 gold medals, 02 silver medals and one bronze medal.

The coach of the Bandipora Ju-Jitsu team Muzaffar Ahmad told Rising Kashmir that Tawfeeq Ahmad Lone got a two gold medals in the fighting system and contact system, Junaid Ashiq got a gold medal in contact system and one silver medal in fighting system.

 

Similarly,SabkatMailk bagged gold medal in contact system and silver medal in fighting system while as Iqrayousuf won gold medal in contact system and bronze medal in fighting system.
