DSEK Warns Against Illegal Charges, Assures Action on Wrong Question Papers

 

The Director of School Education Kashmir (DSEK) issued a stern warning to private schools charging unauthorized capitation and miscellaneous fees from students. Tassaduq Hussain Mir emphasized that schools found guilty would face severe consequences, affirming that the department had already issued directives in this regard and was closely monitoring the situation.

Regarding the recent incident of distributing incorrect question papers to 12th standard students, Mir assured that a committee had been formed, and strict action would be taken against those responsible. He emphasized that there would be no leniency, and the government would receive a factual report promptly.

 

The investigation into the incident is set to commence tomorrow, with Mir stating unequivocally that anyone found accountable for the error, whether intentional or unintentional, would face consequences.

 

The incident occurred on Wednesday when 12th standard students received question papers meant for 11th standard exams, leading to the cancellation of the exam.
