Mostly dry weather is expected in Jammu and Kashmir till tomorrow early morning.
Light to moderate rain/snow is expected at most places across J&K tomorrow.
There is a possibility of snowfall in plains, however, no major snow spell is expected. In most plains snow accumulation will be less than 2cm. At a few places it can touch up-to 3 inches.
2 – 6 inches snow is expected in most higher reaches. At a few places it can accumulate >8 inches.
Day temperature in plains is expected to stay below 7.5°C in most parts of Kashmir.
Barring a few places, dry weather is expected on 06th December across J&K.
In Jammu region, rain/thundershowers of varying intensity are expected at most places on 05 Dec.
Light to moderate snowfall is expected in some parts of Kargil, while light snowfall can also occur in some areas of Leh district (till 06th evening).
Another Western Disturbance, however very weak, is likely to affect J&K from Tuesday evening.
