House Rent Allowance (HRA) of employees of capital cities of Jammu and Srinagar raised to 18 percent on basic pay

Notification of November 2021. Jammu,

 

In exercise of the powers conferred by proviso to Article 309 of the Constitution of India, the Lieutenant Governor is pleased to direct that the following shall be added as fourth proviso to rule 4(I) of the Jammu & Kashmir Civil Services (House Rent Allowance and City Compensatory Allowance) Rules, 1992, as contained in Schedule XXII of Jammu and Kashmir Civil Service Regulations, Vol. IT; namely:-

 

“Provided also that w.e.f 01.07.2021, the House Rent Allowance to the Government employees of Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, shall be payable in the revised pay structure (as per classification notified by Central Government) at following rates:-

 

All Metropolitan Cities Srinagar U. A./Jammu U.A

Other places X Class Cities, Y Class Cities; Z Class Locations;

@ 27% of Basic Pay

@ 18% of Basic Pa

@ 9% of Basic Pa
