J&K Pre/ Post Matric Scholarship Schemes Notification PRE / POST MATRIC SCHOLARSHIP SCHEMES FOR STUDENTS BELONGING TO SCHEDULED CASTE, OTHER BACKWARD CLASSES. ECONOMICALLY BACKWARD CLASS AND PHYSICALLY HANDICAPPED CATEGORY
OBJECTIVE : To promote literacy and uninterrupted education at the pre-matric level. To increase the gross enrolment ratio in higher education and to provide financial assistance to students for completing their education.
ELIGIBILITY : Permanent Resident Certificate/Domicile Certificate. Valid category Certificate (OBC, SC) from the competent authority. Parent’s/ Guardian’s income certificate of less than Rs. 2.50 Lacs/annum issued by concerned Tehsildar.
Disability Certificate indicating 40% and above disability in case of Physically Challenged Students (PCPs) TIMELINE : Submission of online application forms by students 15.11.2021
Verification/forwarding of On-line Applications by Institute Nodal Officer to the concerned DSWO. 30.11.2021 Verification/forwarding of On-line Application by the concerned DSWO to the Directorate of Social Welfare Jammu. 15.12.2021.
INSTRUCTIONS : For Post Matric Scholarship, log in to URL https://jk.gov.in/jkeservices and before applying for the Service, User has to register using the Register Link given on the menu. Upload the legible original scanned copies (jpg image) of the requisite documents of size less than 20kb. Aadhar Seeded Bank Account number in the application form is mandatory.
