Online applications are invited from eligible candidates of the Union Territory of Jammu & Kashmir for temporary engagement against the vacant posts of Staff Nurse on Academic Arrangement basis initially for a period of 06 months. The said engagement shall be terminable at the discretion of the SKIMS even before the expiry of scheduled duration of engagement without assigning any reason. Instructions for applying online: –
The necessary instructions for filling-up of online application form and submission of fee details will be available on official website of SKIMS, skims.ac.in.
A link for online filling of application form shall be available on official website of SKIMS w.e.f 18.11.2022 to 25-11-2022.
The candidates are required to upload clear / legible images of requisite documents wherever required like: –
Educational / Professional Qualification(s), as per eligibility criteria in the (*.jpg, *. Jpeg *.png, *.gif) format.
Date of Birth Certificate.
10+2 / Diploma / Degree certificate / Marks certificate of the respective Diploma
Degree especially final year’s marks certificate.
Category certificate, wherever applicable.
Other requisite certificates as per prescribed qualifications.
Domicile Certificate issued by the Competent Authority.
The candidates are also required to upload the images of recent photograph(s), signature(s) and certificates as per following supported formats: –
Supported formats of the image include jpeg, jpg, gif, png.
Size of photograph and signature must be between 200-300px.
Size of certificates to be uploaded must be between 800-1200px
The last date for submission of online application forms as prescribed above shall be the cutoff date for determining the eligibility for the post.
Application fee shall be Rs. 500/- (Five hundred only) plus service charges over and above of the prescribed fee.
Candidates application will not be considered, if the fee is not paid within the prescribed time limit in the online application form.
Candidates should ensure that their personal email addresses as specified in the online application forms while applying for the post shall be kept active during the concurrence of a recruitment process.
The above procedure is the only valid procedure for applying. No other mode of application or incomplete steps would be accepted and such application(s) would be rejected.
Candidates do not need to submit a printout of the application /fee payment receipt (Challan) to SKIMS at this stage, however, the same along with requisite original documents including domicile certificate issued by the competent authority on the format prescribed for the purpose must be produced at the time of document verification, or as and when asked by the Sher-I-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences.
The candidates should possess minimum basic qualification prescribed for the post by or before the last date of submission of online application form.
No application shall be entertained after the cut-off date of advertisement notice.
The prescribed qualifications are minimum and mere possession of the same do not entitle a candidate to be called for participation in the selection process.
Any candidate found guilty of impersonation or submitting fabricated/tampered it documents or making statements which are incorrect, false or suppressing material information, shall be debarred for participating in the selection process. Besides he/she shall be liable for criminal prosecution.
No TA/ DA will be paid for participation in the written test/ interview.
