Srinagar, Jan 07 (KB): As Kashmir is blessed with talented youth, Aabid Fayaz and Danish Mushtaq both mathematics students have shown their talent by inventing a mathematical model, and were both appreciated by Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha.
Aabid and his friend Danish Mushtaq belong to Mustafabad H.M.T Zainakote Srinagar. Abid, a 12-grade non-medical student, drew on a mathematical model.
Abid Fayaz while sharing his details of the model they invented told Kashmir Bulletin, “I was actually weak in mathematics and I was not able to remember the properties on angle, etc, so I got the idea to resolve this problem, and I have always been interested in doing something unique like I always want to do something of my own.”
Aabid said: I started my route in 10th grade (2020) and my friend Danish helped me every time. Many times we failed to achieve our goal and finally, after 2 years we have successfully invented a working model related to mathematics which helps students to understand mathematics easily and in a joyful way.
This template will give students a better understanding of the properties of the angles. That will not be possible without the support of my family, my teachers and especially my best friend, the Danish Mushtaq. I am very thankful that he is with me. I am very grateful to my beloved professors who believed in me and gave me such a great opportunity, he said.
I have failed many times and sometimes I did not qualify some exhibitions. I I was very discouraged, it was quite heartbreaking. But then I remembered the words of my teacher, she always motivated me by saying never give up on your dreams, it will take time to achieve the goal and you will feel so many times but you have to stand up with the same energy until you reach. And Alhamdulillah | believe what happens, happens for some reason, Aabid said.
Then I started modifying my template and I succeeded. After that I qualified for district, state and national level, which model, is going to be held in Assam.
I met Manoj Sinha, he praised me and motivated me by saying never give up on your dreams, it will take time to be Fulfilled and you will feel so many times, but you have to stand up with the same energy until you reach it, Abid added.
It is important to mention that, In the event organized by the State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT) Jammu and Kashmir at SKICC, Srinagar Abid was appreciated by Lieutenant Governor of J&K Manoj Sinha for his efforts in successfully making the unique mathemat-
ical model. Aabid said the model which works in offline mode by using a mobile or laptop will help students to understand more appropriately the properties of angles and its basics. Earlier, he presented the model and qualified at the Zonal and district level. He also presented the same at DIET Srinagar where he again received appreciation for his work. (Kashmir Bulletin — KB)
