Faizan Ul Fayaz, the first ever boy from Tral to bag Gold at National Level in Thangta Senior Category on its 27th National Thangta where players from 25 states of India participated Faizan Ul Fayaz won Gold after beating the players from Rajasthan, Madya Pardesh & Manipur.
Besides the Golden pride, the boy also received “Guest Of Honour This event was held by Jammu & Kashmir Thangta Association in collaboration with thangta federation of india and sponsored by Jammu & Kashmir Sports Council Many dignified personalities were present and invited to honour the young athletes of the nation.

Faizan ul Fayaz said that All the credit goes to Sajad Ahmad sir (his coach) for his performance and win & is grateful and thanful to his mentor.
He also thanked Aijaz sir, J&K Thangta Association & J&K Sports Council for providing the facilities and plateform.
