JKBOSE Class 10th, 11th, 12th Annual Exams 2021 – Check Marks Criteria, Syllabus Relaxation & Other Details

JKBOSE Issues Notification about Marks Distribution for Class 12th, 11th & 10th Exams after Syllabus Reduction



In continuation to this office notification No. F (Acad-C)relax/Syllabix/xi/XI/21 dated 13-08-2021, it is once again notified for further clarification of the students appearing in the ensuing Annual (Regular) classes 10, 11, and 12 Examinations of Kashmir Division/Winter zone areas of Jammu Division/UT of Ladakh and Annual (Regular) Examinations of 2022 of Summer Zone areas of Jammu Division.


1) The students shall have to attempt only 70% marks from the question paper which shall be treated as 100% for result computation there by a resultant concession of 30%.



2) The theory paper for examination of class 10 shall be set as per notification No.F (Acad-C) CBSE-Design/QP//21 dated 30-03-21. Accordingly the theory paper in case of main subjects like, 1) English 2) Mathematics, 3) Science,4) Social Science, 5) Urdu and 6) Hindi shall be of 80 marks only and candidates have to attempt questions having weightage of 56 marks during the examination. 20 marks are reserved for internal assessment as per new scheme of assessment/examination.



3) In case of Classes 11 and 12, the subjects having no practical course, the question paper shall be of 100 marks and students have to attempt questions having weightage of 70% marks which equals to 70 marks, while as in case of subjects having Practical/Project work/internal Assessment, the candidates shall have to attempt questions having weightage of 70% marks out of the total theory Marks allotted to such subjects after availing the relaxation of 30% Marks eg.In case of subjects having;
