Kashmir University Admission Notification under NEP-2020 for 1st & 2nd Semester 2023 (Private)

Notification for Registration/Examination form (Under National Education Policy-2020) for students desiring to pursue their UG degree in private mode for Social Science/ Humanities subjects (1″-2*d Semester batch 2023)

It is notified for the information of all concerned that the date of completion of Private Registration formalities to 1′ & 2nd Semester, under NEP 2020 of undergraduate program in Humanities/Social Science subject where practical subjects are not involved shall commence from 06-02-2024 to 12-02-2024 On the following terms and conditions:


I. The candidates who have passed their 10+2 class Examination or equivalent in full shall be eligible for registration to the course.
The registration cum

examination form along with instructions shall be available on

www.kashmiruniversity.net (under students registration tab.) The candidates shall have to submit form online (which can be generated only once against candidates board registration number) at the time of his/her

Registration. No separate examination form is required to be submitted.


Ill.The candidates are advised to submit the Board Registration No. (as shown on 12″ Marks Card) carefully or else it can lead to cancellation of form. The district should be also selected carefully

IV. After online form submission, the candidate is required to check MyFormStatus (Private Mode) page

available on University website for payment of prescribed fee online mode. The candidate can log in to MyFormStatus page using his/her Board Registration No and Form No (generated after submission of online form) and then opt the mode of payment as desired.

V. As per University Statutes physically challenged and Orphan students, as evidenced by the requisite certificates from the concerned competent authorities, are exempt from payment of the examination fee.
However, they shall have to pay the Registration and allied fee as is applicable to other students.
The Assistant Registrar, Registration shall authenticate the certificates of such candidates, of being Orphan/physically challenged and accordingly the fee receipts shall be generated. In case a certificate so produced is found not genuine on verification, full fee shall be realized from such a candidate along with any other penalty as shall be decided by the University authorities.


The candidate shall submit the downloaded Registration form, along with copy of fee acknowledgement slip (in case of payment through online mode) or fee receipt (Payment thought receipt mode) to the Registration Section University of Kashmir with following original documents:

  • Matriculation Marks/Qualification Certificate.
  • Higher Secondary part I Marks Certificate.
  • Discharge Certificate from the last institution attended.
  • Migration certificate with Eligibility form and a fee of Rs. 100/- to be deposited in the University Chest, (where applicable).
    Disability/Orphan Certificate for availing of fee concession where applicable.

VII Permission to appear in the examination will be subject to the fulfillment of eligibility criteria.
